Welcome to our summer newsletter!

You’ll find lots of gardening ideas and hints for your summer garden.  Check out the latest arrivals in our nursery – I am really excited about the new ever-blooming hydrangea  ”Wedding Gown” which is a sumptuous white, and “Flutterbye” buddleas with gorgeous flowers in shades of pink and apricot.

We are busy working on a fun and secret garden project here at the coast with Japanese maples, clumping bamboo, fargisia “Great Wall, ” birch trees, lavender, Miscanthus and other grasses like Uncinia rubra.

The big news in gardening for this spring is not really a surprise … gardeners are into growing their own food and participating in projects to make their urban and suburban garden communities “greener” in coming years

The latest Garden Trends Report from the Garden Media Group “gardening with a purpose” is taking hold… whether it’s creating “green” sanctuaries, growing fruits and vegetables, or promoting gardening projects in inner-city schools.
